This test route is new and takes in (in our opinion) probably one of the most difficult junctions you’ll find around Scarborough; one that even a driver with years of experience would struggle with, so get plenty of practice! Be careful on the entry into Highfield from Seamer Road, as quite often there are cars parked either side of the road (all the way up the hill) and only room for one car. Keep your speed slow as there are a lot of potential hazards around. At the end of the road, the right turn needs to be taken very slowly and needs good clutch control as the hill is very steep! Once you have emerged, continue to look a long way down the road as the road is still very narrow. Watch out for the sloped wall to the left near the left turn for Springhill Lane.
